Snake

    I found this little guy right outside one of my coops this morning. I am not sure but my son thinks it was a Timber Rattlesnake??? Anyone know for sure?

    yep

    diamond back has a diamond pattern that covers the width across the top of the snake

    eta: you must be in the very northern reaches of Florida, or the snake was trucked in on an oilfield truck.....

    we have had a few timber rattlers where I live in south Texas, but usually only after oil field trucks bring in drill stem piping from somewhere else........they like to hang out in the pipes....
