Do you see any watery eyes, discharge from eyes or nostrils, bubbles in the corner of her eyes???

What kind of bedding do you have in with them? I notice that sometimes the pine shavings I use will cause large amounts of dust.

Could be CRD, if it is, not saying it is, but she will be a carrier for life and will give it to her offspring. You can give her Tylan50 1/2cc by mouth daily for 3 to 5 days. Or you can let it run it's course.

the discharge from her nose has cleared, and her eyes look a little glassey still.
I'll give it to her just to be sure.

Oh and another question. she doesnt drink when shes with her offspring is there anything i can do to get her to drink.
I've tried watermelon and she doesnt like it.
Would an eye dropper work ?

You may try setting one of those small waterer's close to her. If I were guessing though, she is probably drinking and your just not seeing her. How old are the chicks? If they are only a couple of days old, she will start taking them out and teaching them what to do, and she will eat and drink.

She may be feeling bad and not wanting to drink or eat much. You could wet her some feed and she can get hydration that way. The chicks will love it too.

She will take them out in a day or two. She is fine, they don't drink or eat much while setting/hatching.
