snoring chicken!!!

hi everyone. had a bit of a funny experience last night, i went out after dark to dust my chickens with mite prevention powder, and they were already asleeep. i took the first one ( i only have 2), powdered her, and put her back. i then took the second one, powdered her, and put her back also. as i was putting the second one back on her perch i could hear the first one "snoring" !!!!! it was exactly like a human snore only quieter!!! has anyone else got chickens that snore???

Yes! My young cockerel Amos snores! It was very funny the first time I saw it!

I just ran across this thread while searching to see if anyone else had snoring chickens! Whew! So glad they do. Lol I thought I was losing my mind tonight. I went out to tuck in the girls and make sure the coop was secure....what do I hear? Snoring! It was too cute
