    we already have an inch and a half and we have a bunch more to go! just got my ducks "outdoor" shelter finished. bring it on old man... bring. it. on.

    We got about 3 inches this morning, along with some pretty good winds.
    All the other birds have coops- but my 6 free ranging peas will have to
    tough it out tonight when it gets down to about 10°. I just worry about them soooo....

    But we probably wont get the snow you will get all winter.

    We got a foot the day before Thanksgiving.
    I swear, 10 miles from me it rained.
    But, after my duck house made it through Hurricane Irene dry & roof in tact, I felt like that about winter, too.

    Digging the path to the duck house in a SURPRISE foot of snow (my shovel was by the chicken coop, not a door), I wished I'd moved the darn thing closer to the house.

    I love snow but it makes working outside so hard
