So I got up this morning and decided to take the camera with me while i did morning rounds. We rarely get snow that actually sticks around long enough to get good photos so I took advantage of it today. Hope you enjoy spending the morning with us.

First we (my bator buddy - Smokey) must check the incubators.

And we have some hatching in the hatcher

Thanks for a delightful day with you and yours:) Do you see that you have the beginning of a wonderful picture story book here? My children and grands would have been entranced to follow the pictures, talk about the pets and animals...you might think about it. ~G

Oh Wow Evermore! Can I please come live with you? [IMG]

You're right biddyboo, but I'm 44 and I would love to hear all the stories of the animals too [IMG]

Your home looks like a wonderful, homey place to be. Thanks for sharing.

Quote:Colorado has had a rough winter! My in-laws say this is the worst winter they remember in years... They live on the west side of the mountains, south of Grand Junction.

Thanks everyone. We enjoy it and thought today would be such memorable pics since we rarely ever see any snow more than a dusting. My DH and I were giving warm water, a bit of scratch, fresh hay, gathering eggs and taking pics. I could not handle any colder than this - hats off to you that do - We were prepared for this and will not have to leave the house until Monday. Seems like no one knows how to drive in the snow down here so I prefer to just stay off the roads

WOW! Wish I had the land to have so many critters!!! We used to have a horse, and a corgi, but now just the corgi x pug mixes, chickens, lizards, and cat. I really like that picture of your black kitty! SOOO CUTE!

I can relate to the black and white kitty sleeping under the heatlamp. I tend to get droopy eyed when the heater goes on in the house...
