Snyder's Swamp is where i live with my chickens. My husband bought me a coop for Christmas 2021 and a friend gave us 5 hens, now 1 living.

Welcome to BYC. If your hen has made her nest in an unsecured spot, you should certainly move her. I assume the other 4 hens were taken by a predator?

You can and should move her but she will likely break her broodiness when you do. Do you have an incubator to finish hatching her eggs? Do you have a predator proof coop and run for her?
