how are they looking for day 8? also is it ok to candle often or should i try really hard not to candle so often

They look great..remember every time you open your incubator you lose heat and humidity so open as little as possible.I candle mine at day 10 and day 18 when I take my turner out

ok so i pry shouldn't candle again till it gets close so hard to keep myself from looking lol i candled Friday at day 5 for the first time then candled on day 7 then today on day 8 lol im so exciting

I'm no expert, but they look great to me too. I love that we can see into that shell a little and see them moving, it amazed me the first time I saw it too!! I've gotten to the point where as much as I want to see, I only candle on 18 when I set my eggs... my hatch rates have risen a lot since I quit being so nosey (hahaha)! But I do miss seeing them move around! Enjoy the development of your chicks... hatching day is only a few short days away!!! It only seems like forever the first couple times!
