How old is he? I am thinking about getting a rooster, but I'm just not positive yet.

He's about 7 months old. We had Batman in this coop as the dominant male (bantam) and moved him out to a smaller coop when we thought the ducks were beating him up at which point Marylou started crowing...

DH and I kept mentioning what long pretty legs Marylou has, her long neck feathers, her gorgeous long tail feathers, how much bigger and fiestier she was than the pther girls...never even suspecting she was a he [IMG] Someone on here mentioned she's also not a RIR, but rather a Buckeye.
