Brought the lucky 13 home Friday, had 10 Eggs yesterday and so far 7 eggs today. I know they can stop laying due to the new environment but i am just wondering if they will stop within a day or two of the move or when? Kids are very excited to go check for eggs so i am trying to forewarn them of the possible impending egg-less days ahead. Thanks

They might not stop, but after the first few days, don't expect the peak production to happen. I'd say you'll reach your peak production again in a few weeks. The eggs on day one and two were most likely already being formed and on their way out.

idf they do stop laying because of the move.it may take them 2 weeks or so to start laying again.or it could cause them to go into molting.
