So I’m not sure about these breeds??

I bought some chicks from a local feed store and I’m not sure what kind of roosters these are. They don’t seem to be kinds i bought. Was wondering if anyone can help identify the breeds. I think they get the chicks from Ideal hatchery if that helps.

I especially don’t know the breed of the one with the light hackle and feathered feet

The first one doesn't match anything I see on Ideal's website. It looks like it has Marans blood but they say their olive eggers are Barnevelder crosses, so I am just not sure what it is. The second may be a Barnevelder and the third a dark Cornish.

The first one reminded of an Asian Black. They don't carry those though. Even after looking at what they carry, I'm still unsure.

The second one *may* be a very poorly laced Barnevelder.

The third is your Blue Star, and she's a pullet.

I wonder if that's your Blue Copper Maran -- though a BCM *shouldn't* have light hackles.
