So i threw out my huge wood brooder and got this one....

    That is so cute!!! Thats what Im doing too!! I have 2 broody's going and a bator full! Cant wait to chuck that bator into bleach closet heaven for the year!!

    yes.. she was sitting on 22 duck eggs and 12 guinea eggs along with 3 chicken eggs.

    she only tossed the chicken eggs.


    so ... assuming everyone hatches...which i a big if...

    she'd have done 34 eggs. and shes NOT a big duck !

    I think we're about at 16...

    I have a broody mallard right now, but I wouldn't trust her with chicks. She has even tossed out some of her own eggs!
    She is real grumpy and noisy and almost looks irritated to beat the band.

    Anyone else have a duck like this? [​IMG]
