So is a hole in the head a good thing?????

So I did a little research and found that vaulted skulls means a hole in the head...Is this good or bad?
Why would anyone want a chicken with a hole in the head???

Its not so much the wanting of the hole in the skull- as wanting the resulting crest. I tried to hatch some crested ducks once- not a single one survived to hatch. I might try again some day...But it was really sad to loose them all.

It makes them, whether it's a chicken or a duck, more prone to brain injury, so personally I don't find it a good thing.

Ducks do not get a vaulted skull. Tufted Geese do and crested chickens but the feathers that form a crest on a duck are not the same as on a chicken. That is how I understand it at least
