If I put out chick grit (which I picked up at TSC this am) can I give them cantaloupe skin (with some flesh left on!). They will be 1 week tomorrow! They are eating their FF well.

I don't know if cantaloupe in particular is safe for the babies, but I know I gave my little ones last summer watermelon rinds with a bit of flesh still in them. At first they were terrified of it (they were terrified of everything [IMG]), but when one finally got brave and tasted it they went bonkers for it and boy did they have a ball eating it and playing in it. So, here's another. I have "wild bird seed" if I put out chick grit, can I sprinkle some around as a lil treat?
