    She is debeaked. She pecks and pecks at the ground and doesn't get much reward. But today she caught a little lizard and ran like heck with my 3 JG's after her. I finally blocked them and let Clarisse eat her lizard in peace. I am so proud!!!

    At hatcheries they cut the top of the beak about a quarter inch shorter than the bottom so they don't peck at eachother. When chickens are crammed in like that, they peck a
    eachother bloody
