Here's what I found after less than 2 weeks of my girls laying. I didn't check for eggs the day before. 6 prefect eggs all in the nest box (I've seen them take turns using it). I even caught this girl turning the eggs

. So neat and cute!!! They are 24 weeks old. I am so loving my first chicken owner experience

They are so fun. Our Barred Rocks are the foundation of our mini flock- consistent size and color eggs, about 6 per week. It still makes me so happy EVERY time I go check the nest box. Tiny little miracle.
