I have 11 Golden Comet pullets some 18 wks some 17 wks.
The 11 little girls gave me 8 eggs today. Wooohooo!
Thats pretty good dontcha think??

Very good! Are all of yours laying? I think that's a great number for the middle of summer (if it's anywhere near as hot as it's been in central Florida).

Oh they get spoiled for sure. Just made some Salsa.
Of course the got the trimings.

You know I never have purchased any oyster shell.
I have been crushing up the egg shells and feeding
them back. Some of them started laying the first
week of the month at around 15wks. I have only
ever had one soft shell egg.
