SO VERY EXCITED!!

I ordered my small batch of New Hampshire Reds yesterday, I am so very excited to find out when they will come in. We are getting the brooder stuff this weekend and will have everything ready to go when they arrive. Oddly my children (14 & 20) are not really supporting this idea but I think that will change once they get here.

I have wanted chickens for about 4 years now, and I finally get them!!

Now if only I can stop my husband from naming them Buffalo, Cordon Blee, General & Colonel

Hahaha nice names. My bf decided to do the same thing with mine until he realized I already had names picked out since day 1. One did get named Omelet though. Post pictures of the chicks when they arrive.
