I think the dirt bath was a bit mucky don't you? What do we call them now?[IMG]

Muddled midget whites - bet they don't breed true. I'm about done with snowy, cold, sloppy weather - come on spring!

You and me both! I hate the cold. I went out to check for eggs and even the chickens have enough sense to stay inside.

I told the turkeys to go in and locked them up early. Nasty weather and it's supposed to turn to ice and snow tonight. I need to move somewhere warm and sunny.

Here in Louisiana, the high is 70 for today and it is raining and will be for the next 4 days, right through Mardi Gras. I feel sorry for all the people who came for their vacations. I guess they will have to stay on Bourbon Street and party! Just a few more weeks and the fruit trees should start flowering. We have one peach tree flowering already, if the wind doesn't blow all the flowers off, before they have chance to pollinate! This week we start planting our spring garden, so it is a very busy time of year for us. The fishing is great this time of year, too. The ducks are laying, as well as the turkeys and the geese should start very soon. After February, there isn't much chance of freezing temps, although, I do remember one Easter Sunday that did not get over 30 degrees for the high, but it was a real fluke for us. We are almost always in shorts by then.[IMG]

Quit teasing Celie, or you might have a house guest you can't get rid of.

I think the turkeys favorite dusting spot is now under water. Our driveway is currently under about 2 feet near the end. I might have to drive through our alfalfa and the ditch to get out tomorrow. I'm expecting an early phone call from the post office you know.

I had to open my big mouth and now the weather forecast calls for below freezing temps for sometime early Sunday morning! Maybe, if I wished really hard[IMG], the forecast will change before Sunday gets here??? It's still 4 days away![IMG]
