Our Leghorn has been laying eggs like this for about 3 weeks. She has oyster shells available and is fed egg layer feed. We think she close to 2 years old but aren't sure because we rescued her from an egg farm that left them all to die last year. Is she coming to the end of her egg days?[IMG]

Wow, weeks. She may not be able to produce the calcium needed for the eggshell . This does happen. You say she is getting her calcium, crushed egg shell or oyster shell, etc. Some hens just stop developing then eventually stop laying altogether . Sometimes when the molting kicks in and she gets her 6-8 week break from laying she may bounce right back. Keep an eye on her....good luck,
    Steve
