Soft lump in Belly of my silkie girl.

Yesterday I got a female silkie the guy said she had not layed in 2 months and he didnt want her, Now my question is she shows no sign of distress or pain and seems healthy but I felt a soft round like shape ball in her stomach area the is no swelling of the abdominal area. Its about golf ball size its squishy like stress ball., I am new to the chicken thing and have no idea I ask a friend they said its probably a tumor her vent looks small in size compares to my orpingtons. Pleae help, I really would like to see her be prosperous and live since I have always wanted silkies.Please help?
