hello everybody,
i've just got my first 5 chicks ever. They've been wonderful at 2 weeks old. They are pure bred organic light sussex. the smallest one who has always been a loud peeper and sleeps a bit longer than the other chicks has developed a soft swelling on it bottom. the lump is quite large and none of the other chicks have anything like it. I noticed the lump while it was sleeping, it hangs out behind its back legs. So i let them out on the floor to run around and to see if this chick was pooping. its still pooping. so any ideas as to what the problem is????
