I have several little Faverolles cockerels hatched out on February 12, 2009 that will be ready for a new home. I hope they can be additions to someone's flock as I would not like to see them taken just for meat. They are from this flock: http://www.mccallumsflock.com/. I had a successful hatch from shipped eggs that I placed beneath two of my cochin bantam broody hens. All of the hatched chicks have been healthy and strong. They are lively and right at the stage where they say, "Dee dee-dee dee-dee!" in their little voices over and over again. THESE LITTLE COCKERELS WOULD LIKE TO MAKE FAVEROLLES GIRLFRIENDS HAPPY! Two of them are four-toed and would make great additions to a backyard flock. They are known as docile roosters, so would be one of the better choices for a backyard or small flock. Plus, they are beautiful. To see a Faverolles rooster click on this link: http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGD/Favs/BRKFaverolles.html Just looking for a good home for them. If you live around Spokane area I can meet you halfway--perhaps at a feed store or something.
