Sold to me as a RIR, What the heck is it?

Ok Here are some Pic's Mine started out dark but now it looks like this at about 4 weeks.

looks to be a pullet also...she will lay beautiful green/blue eggs

Um, that appears to be a cockerel. Four weeks old, three rows of "peas" showing on the comb already? That says male to me. Definitely an Easter Egger.

I say Pullet because roosters have red tones through out their the feathers...and pullets are duller like this chick

Man I have plenty of EE already, I wanted a RIR, I had gotten 30 Plus of different breeds, Figures I picked out a EE. I hope it's a hen at least.

Yup...that's an EE. I think it might be a pullet, but it's so hard to tell. The comb is not red even though it has three rows of bumps and I don't really see any definite patches of all white or red coming in on the wings...it looks like a more even pattern. Wait about 2 more weeks or so and you'll know if it's a boy or a girl. =)

Not always. I've seen plenty of plain black and white male EEs here on BYC. I sure hope it's a pullet, but the comb says male to me.

Joe, sorry you didn't get your RIR. That's about as far as you can get from that!
