I took in this rooster from a friend that ended up with an extra. He was purchased last year from TSC as a Barred Rock. But in looking at pictures of BR roos, I’m not convinced he’s pure BR, and maybe he isn’t BR at all - he looks a lot like a Dominique in my very inexperienced opinion. It’s hard to see, but he has some brown streaking, esp in his hackle and saddle feathers and some of his tail feathers are mostly black with a green sheen.
I’m hoping someone with more BR/Dominique rooster ID experience can help! We like him either way, I’m just always curious what they are!
