Awesome! I can never get good close-ups like that!

I took these today, going to miss all the butterflies & bees in the fall.

just beautiful. It still looks very lush in NJ. Here in Ga all my flowers and plants are so stressed by the heat.

Thanks all! I'm falling so much in love with the camera. It really lets me express my creativity sooo much more. Believe it or not, the macro photos I took with a telephoto lens. I would love a true macro lens, but I'll have to wait until Christmas! Macros are definitely my favorite because there is so much in every day life that we miss with our eyes.

    Happymtn,

Those are some tall sunflowers! Beautiful cone flowers too! We have some sunflowers growing that are supposed to be the same color as yours but they aren't nearly as tall!

    Willkatdawson,

It's actually been very dry here for the past two weeks, but this past weekend we had quite a bit of rain. It really brought the plants back because they had dried up so much in the heat!

Here's a fun pic of my dog looking out over the horses!

Those purple flowers are sooooo pretty! Do you know what they were? Have you gotten any tomatoes yet? We've only gotten a few off our deck plant, but the ones in the garden have a ton of green ones!

    Chickerdoodle-
I can send you some seeds for the really tall ones in the background- they are 14ft and just starting to flower!

The ones in the foreground- I just bought a bag of Burpee mixed wildflowers (not sure I'd call Zinnias wildflowers [IMG] ) and scattered it in my compost bin. Much better than looking at a box of compost all summer, eh?

I really want/have to get a better camera now! Maybe I'll have to put that cabinet incubator on hold for a bit.

    Fattie- you're so silly![IMG]
