Here are some pics of some new Little Araucana Chicks.. Thanks Lanae
They are adorable!
Congrat's!! So cute...
Wow ... very nice , was this hatch from shipped eggs ?
Congratulations on your new chicks !!!
From two different shipments. 2 hatched from one shipment and 4 from the other.
So cute! When they're grown, you should post some adult pics together with some of their baby pics on a thread, so people can see what coloring each of these turned out with when they grow up. They have such a pretty variety of colors!
Keep an eye on the dk grey with brown head. I think it is a roo chick and looks double tufted. It will probably turn out to be black breasted red. You could pair him with bbr or duckwing hens and get both colors.
I am happy for you. Araucanas are so much fun.
I'm enjoying your chick posts soooo incredibly much! I have 4, what I believe to be Araucanas ... all rumpless but I'm not 100% on their coloring yet. They don't seem to have prominent tufts. They range in age from 8-13 weeks old. I can't wait to post pictures. This thread has taught me so much about coloring. Keep posting these great picutres, especially if you have chicks in the 8-13 wk range.
2 Kitties, 2 beehives, 4 chicks all in the city .... loving every minute. Louisville KY
