    Are the silkies hatchery stock or mixed? I see they have straight combs rather than walnut?

    PS I hate walnut combs

    They all come from TSC, so they're hatchery. They do have 2 different comb types though.

    I don't really care either way, I've just always wanted silkies so I'm happy I got a couple. One was technically free and the other was under like a dollar fifty. :D

    You will love the silkies, they are fantastic. I had a flock of all silkies until I got my latest batch of chicks, the whites were my favorites. I sold them Monday to make room for new chicks.
