Just a couple of pics of the chics I got at TSC for 3/$1 a couple weeks ago out in the temporary run outside the new coop. They wellies wont join them for a couple weeks yet. We think the are golden comets.

My golden comets were never that light. They had more of a color between buff and red over their whole body. Here is one all grown up

She pretty much looked like that right from a few weeks old on. Yours seem to have a lot of white, or is it just the pic?

Well the sign said mixed pullets when I bought them. I called back and the store clerk that takes care of the chickens said they were "probably" golden comets. The feathers coming in around their necks and backs are pretty dark. I guess I will have to wait and see what they turn out to be!
