These feel rubbery. Found them in a hen's stool on our deck this morning. Any ideas? Not sure exactly which one but saw 2 hens on the deck this morning and both seem fine. (Drinking straw in pic is for size reference) [IMG]

They are small, but could possibly be lash egg material, which usually is infected material from the oviduct. It is a result of salpingitis. You have good eyes to find those. Do a search on salpingitis, and look for TheChickenChick.com who has an excellent article, and also look for ThePoultrySite and others.

That was what I was thinking but wasn't sure if they passed in stool. Someone laid an egg without a shell today. As far as I know, only one is laying due to molting or old age. Not one of the the 2 that were on the deck today...[IMG]
