There was something the size and shape of a lemon seed floating in the white of one of my eggs today! It was actually a coil of soft tissue... I'm at work, so I couldn't get a picture of it. Should I be worried?
My brain jumped to "worm" too, but I don't think it was a parasite. I have noticed the chalazae in other eggs (not that I had any idea what they were called, thanks!) but this was way more substantial and completely independant of the yolk. Usually, the chalazae are nestled right against the yolk.
