Something on my ducks belly!

My baby duckling lucky has this little bump on it's belly. I'll show a picture below. Am I supposed to leave it go and it will pick it off. Or do I have to remove it. Lucky was abandoned by it's mother an father from the start. He was premature and was being eating by the mom and dad but we got there in time to save him.

How old? It looks like what is left of the umbilical cord. I would not pick at it as that can cause bleeding and it will eventually fall off just like the stub that's left with babies.

What do you mean? Do you mean the duckling that it is attached to or other ducklings picking at it?
