One day all of my girls started freaking out, then my rooster walked forward, and was like, "I'll save you all from that dangerous tomato!" Now I bet if I gave my chicks a tomato they would be like, oh yay something red and yummy we can peck at! It took a while for my hens to even eat the tomato. The rooster of course was the first one to pick up the dangerous object with his beak...
