So my two pet mallard ducks were killed this am in my back yard. My security cam shows a fast moving animal like a coon or medium size dog? The ducks were skinned in head and breast eaten. The boy really rallied to her defense but he was brutalized badly. His entire neck was skinned. Horrible! Sorry for the details but I need help to know what I'm dealing with. Mink? Fox? Coon? I don't think it was a dog. Wounds are too specific. Any help appreciated. I rented a live trap and set by pond where they were killed. Grieving. My pets for four years. Horrible mess ...

I bought a "Freedom brand" dog/cat proof trap.
I suggest getting one..
It's easy to set by hand no special set tool required.
Use cat food or cut up hot dogs for bait.
It can catch coons, opposums and skunks.

You can buy a dog proof trap for kinda cheap and u can put marshmallow in it or any sweet food, does great for coons, or any small critter with “fingers”
