Soon to be new baby chick owner

Hello. Soon, our family will be getting baby chicks for the first time. I am in the process of doing all my research. I have a friend who uses New Country Organics feed for her chickens...drives a far distance to buy it because she likes it that much! I have that option available at a family-run feed store that is fairly close, but the owner also likes the starter product from Backyard Feed Company just as much as the New Country. Has anyone used the Backyard feed and can give me some feedback on their experience with it? Thanks!

I would say that this is hard because of the feed being in the area that you live but I would say that it doesn't overly matter.
