My silver phoenix has been sitting on a variety of eggs for what seems like forever. I go go out there and i see a little chick pop out from under her wing. i am still trying to find out what he/she is. i think it is buff brahma mixed with on of my California Greys. i cant get any pics at the moment but he/she is black with a white spot on its head and feathers on its feet. here are 2 possibilities:

California Grey Rooster/ Buff Brahma hen
but i am SO happy that atleast one has hatched, others are sure to follow
