Are there any other symptoms such as runny nose, watery or bubbly eyes, gasping, sneezing, or noisy breathing? Swollen eyes may be a sign of a respiratory infection, but eye infection or pecking can also cause this. Ammonia odors or dust in the coop can irritate the eyes. Terramycin eye ointment used twice daily may help.
