Hi there
One of my hens she not laying yet. She has a sore leg no injuries that I can see but has been limping for a few days. I now have her indoors for the third night.
This evening I went to the pharmacy here in BC and they do not carry children's asprin for health risk reasons. Alas i had to buy adult asprin at 81mg a tab. Now this is where you come In, how much do I give her? And will she heal her sore leg?

Aspirin is not a healing med. It does block pain signals, and thins out blood. Not sure that will heal your chicken? :idunno
Not sure of dosage to try, I personally would cut pill into 4 pieces, and offer one of the four. If it would help, then offer her second portion day later. I don't think aspirin would do damage in small amounts and only on occasional ingestion.

Check the bottom of you hen's foot for bumble foot, or some other injury like a cut.
Question? Is it possible that your hen jumped off a high point, like a high roost??
Many peeps have high roosts, and insufficient horizontal travel inside their coops. Result would be a crash vertical landing. Such things can cause leg muscle, tendon injuries.
I'm not saying it ALWAYS HAPPENS,,,, but it is a possibility.
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome
