sorry for the dual post - climate and breed

  1. Does anyone have red or black sex link chickens in a northern climate? Are they pretty winter hardy? They seem smaller (4-5 pounds for hens) than the usual winter hardy birds, so I need to make sure they'll be OK before I order. Thanks!

I have black sex links and live in Maine....Brrr. They do really well, in fact the only two girls I am getting eggs from right now is a BSL and a RIR.
  3. Oh, great, thank you!
