I have a horrible problem with my babies. They seem to have mites or lice. A few things looked like worms but didn't move like one. So one baby has this area under his wing, on his body. It's practically see through. I've never seen anything like this before. Basically his guts are about to fall out!

I am unsure what you are talking about unless you are seeing lice. Both lice and mites can be controlled by spraying your birds with a water-Permethrin mixture.

No, but maggots will... Are they all like that?!

That looks like your chick's abdominal cavity did not close up before it hatched and an infection has set in. The prognosis is not good.

This is the only one with a wound but I lost 3 other smaller babies. They seemed undernourished

Alright, this is odd enough we're gonna need the full rundown.
Where did you get the chicks? What are you keeping them in? Bedding? Do you have pictures of the mites or lice you're seeing? What are they eating and drinking?
