Ok I need help! So this chickens crops been like this for 2 weeks. We’ve emptied it twice and it came out super liquidy white. It was squishy. I thought it was impacted crop, but shouldn’t emptying it move it along? So then I thought sour crop, but she doesn’t smell sour or yeasty. And now I’ve heard of pendulous crop. Could this be it? Or what do you think? Should I treat for sour crop.

I know his is old, but I thought I'd kinda define the difference a little, for future reference and for others. Impacted crop. The crop will be tight and you will feel the firm lump. It will generally be moldable. So, of you squish it, it will stay in that squished shape, for a bit. Kinda like somewhat dry play dough. Sour crop is a distended crop, but will stink. Distended crop is not a primary problem; it's a result of some other illness, which could potentially be sour crop. A Distended crop will not be tight and will hang a little low and may feel like a water balloon. There's no specific treatment. You need to figure out the primary problem. A healthy crop will be tight around the food which will be in a ball shape.
