source for identifying breeds ?

Hi all, I just rejoined the forum today... it's been a number of years since I was a member although I've lurked off and on.
Anyway, is there a book or website that has the basic identifying characteristics of the most common breeds of chickens?
I don't know exactly what I have at the moment and since I'm thinking of adding to my flock I'd like to learn a bit more.
