Where are you situated? Oh cute, I would love to have chicks....... maby soon.

I get 5 eggs everyday. I have one customer who comes by every two weeks and I sell him 30. R1.00 an egg. Love it!!

Chicken Valley, where about in Fish Hoek are you? I'm also from Cape Town and spent the last 12 years of my time there in Fish Hoek, Kommetjie, and then just past Simons Town. Maybe we've met at some point....what a small world.

Didn't see your post - sorry!

I'm up in the crime free area of Gauteng. I now have five chooks laying regularly, and am averaging four eggs a day. Some are small, from the bantams, whilst the others are a good size, probably from the BO's, though I'm not certain.

I will soon hit the local food markets on a weekend, and yeah, R1.00 an egg seems the going rate, though I might only get 25c for the banties' eggs!

Hi I'm Dihan I live in the Overberg I breed a variety of chickens and then cross breed them I also have Venda and Boschveld chickens In total I have 125 chickens of wich is 100 laying hens and 5 roosters and the rest is chicks
