    Hi all

Chicken Valley, where about in Fish Hoek are you? I'm also from Cape Town and spent the last 12 years of my time there in Fish Hoek, Kommetjie, and then just past Simons Town. Maybe we've met at some point....what a small world.[IMG]

    Hey CV!

Didn't see your post - sorry!

I'm up in the crime free area of Gauteng. I now have five chooks laying regularly, and am averaging four eggs a day. Some are small, from the bantams, whilst the others are a good size, probably from the BO's, though I'm not certain. [IMG]

I will soon hit the local food markets on a weekend, and yeah, R1.00 an egg seems the going rate, though I might only get 25c for the banties' eggs!

    Welcome, Tropical chook!
