Southern CA: 2 mallard ducklings needing a home

Two mallard eggs were orphaned when the mother died... I rescued them, incubated them, and hatched them. They have imprinted on me. They are currently 3 weeks old. I found out that even though they have never been in the wild since they were hatched here, they are still considered wild. So I have been looking into wildlife rescue centers; however, a lot of wildlife rescues that I emailed are saying they don’t know if the birds will be able to be released into the wild. And I found that the California wildlife says that human imprinted ducks are one of the non-releasable conditions... if they can’t be given to a educational center then they can be euthanized.

So instead of being killed or having to be passed around to different places, I’m thinking another option would be to rehouse them with a loving, duck-experienced person who is willing to give them a forever home, since it is not looking like my city allows ducks.
Is there anyone in Southern California that is an experienced duck owner willing to give two mallard ducklings (3 weeks old) a forever home? :)

We live up in the Inland Empire. Would you be willing to drive that far? I will get back to you in a few minutes.

Question- Can you guarantee the ducks won't bring rodents/roaches to the house?
For roaches yes because they have been inside in the brooder. Rodents? I’m not sure how they would bring them.

Also, I just have some questions too if you don’t mind. Do you have other ducks currently? And how long have you had ducks/ been a duck owner, in general?

Also can you send a picture of the area they would be kept in. Are they being raised as pets, for meat, etc.? Are they permitted in your area? They are human imprinted, so would there be ample time available for someone to bond with them to reduce the stress of a new parental figure?
Sorry in advance for the questions, I am just making sure what home environment and care would be provided to them so I may make a decision too! Thank you :)

Okay so as much as I would have LOVED to take the ducklings, I talked with the family and unfortunately we are not in a position to keep them. So for now, it's a no. Thanks for offering to do this however! I wish all the best for you and your precious ducklings!!!
