Southern Indiana Ameraucanas

I've heard that getting Ameraucanas is really tricky, because people will sell you chickens that are actually easter eggers. The fact that they're not pure breeds isn't the issue though, my dad just wants chickens with beards and my mom wants colorful eggs. Is there a reliable breeder in Southern Indiana I can get those kind of chickens from?

Go on the Ameraucana Alliance and the Ameraucana breeders club websites. They list breeders by state.
If the sellers do not list color (wheaten, black, blue, buff...), you are buying EEs. If you're not paying $10+ for a straight run chick, you're buying EEs.
