Very handsome and believe it or not he is not aggressive. His name is Pickles and is 1 1/2 years old. My husband says that this is not a proper name for a rooster but it was when he was a little fuzzy butt chick. Watches after his girls, his nails are trimmed and so are his spurs. My hens are a smaller breed and he is just too heavy. I hate to give him up. For the past 2 months I've kept the hens and rooster in separate runs. They can still see each other and interact a bit. However everyone roosts together at night and he can do quite a bit of damage before I can get out to the coop at 6a.m. PM me if interested.
He found a home here in New Hampshire not too far away from my house. Has 20 hens to keep him company.
