Spacing turkeys?

We have chickens and ducks right now. DH is talking about adding a few turkeys next year. From what I read you have to keep them away from the chickens. How far apart do they need to be? My chickens are fenced in totally so they can't get out. The ducks have a short fence that they do occasionally get out of.

Any advice on raising turkeys? He is wanting the red or burbon ones, can't rememeber their official names.

We raise 6 different breeds of turkeys, Midget White, White Holland, Bourbon Red, Beltsville, Royal Palm, Standard Bronze. Ours sometimes hatch in the same nest with chickens, we brood them together, and as adults we raise them together. We have never had any trouble doing so other than a turkey hen will sometimes break chicken eggs in the nest by stepping on them. A chicken can carry blackhead and pass it on to turkeys but we have never had that.
