This chick hatched this week and I think has a back/hip problem. It definately has problems with mobility and has problems getting arround.

Its difficult to photograph but here are some photos.

any thoughts anyone?

Poor lil guy. It almost looks like one leg is longer than the other. I can't think of thing you can do. I'm pretty sure it's a deformity and it's probably not in pain. It will probably always have a limp, but be fine otherwise.

I think this chick will learn to cope with the imbalance and be a fully functioning adult. I, too, doubt the chick is in any pain. He/she will get stronger as the muscles will develop to accommodate the (probable) skeletal asymmetry. Both babies are adorable!
