Speckled Sussex gender

Here’s more face pics....he/she is at least 17 weeks old...

Its body shape looks like that of a cockerel, but the details are a little difficult for me to make out in the photograph.

Here is my speckled Sussex...and it’s my one of my favorite breeds for its personality (affectionate, curious) and intelligence.
I’m holding out hope that yours is a hen, but a week ago, mine started crowing/stepped up in rank once

my Easter egger roo was gone (zoning here in my part of San Diego doesn’t permit roosters 😩).
According to my breeder, they are slow to mature (mine was hatched early April). Trying to post video but can’t figure out how to embed it here.
