Hi there! Purchased this little cutie back in September as a speckled Sussex, I have one other that is 7 months old. As I’m watching this little one develop she’s looking a bit different from my other girl, coloring and feather pattern. I came across a pic of a jubilee and I see more resemblance so now I’m confused. 🤯 Anyone familiar with these breeds and able to easily pinpoint it one way or the other? Here’s some pics of her at 10-11 weeks. She’s the sweetest thing!

Most likely just a Sussex with a paler background color. Jubilee Orps are usually fatter and much fluffier.
Great thank you! Some
Have mentioned possible Swedish flower as well. I think because my first speckled Sussex was so much darker. Here she is at 10 weeks and now currently at 7 months.

Usually speckled Sussex do have that darker back ground color. I just think you would know if you were sold a jubilee Orp because they are rare and expensive, so that's part of why I say it's likely a Sussed. Swedish flower hens have yellow legs, not white, as far as I know, so that rules that breed out.

Where did you buy these birds from?

Tractor supply. It must just be a buff/lighter Sussex. She’s also developing her spots/speckles earlier than my other girl. She’s super sweet regardless. We loved our first SS and that’s why I decided to get two more. I picked up two and gave my sister the darker one (which looked identical to our older Sussex as a chick) and we kept the lighter one. Here they are as chicks. She’s the lighter one♥️

I think most likely Sussex, but as she grows you will know more. She's a beauty in any case.
