Speckled Sussex pullet or Cockerel

I have 3 all are supposed to be pullets, this one is larger and has reddish comb already,

5 weeks old yesterday

Anyone have an idea on temperament? I know the hens are suppose to be docile all 3 are very sweet.

I had one many years ago that got killed by my dog ( long story) I still miss her, but what I do remember was that even when I didn’t give her a ton of attention she was still always sweet to me. Very calm breed.

I have 2 other roosters oldest at 11 yrs is game/game bantam the other is OEGB 3 yrs old worried there maybe trouble eventually. My game/ game bantam is an ornery old guy lol

Are they penned up or free range? How many hens do you have?

They free range on half acre fenced and cooped at night. 17 hens

My sussex were my friendliest, I hope the transfers to roos. my rocks were the nosiest and my lorps were in the back of the class praying I wouldn't pick them.
